Semi Finalists Emerge In Zenith Bank Delta Principals' Cup

Four semi finalists on Wednesday emerged in the ongoing 2019/2020 Zenith Bank Delta Principals' Cup Football Competition.

The schools are Zappa Mixed Secondary School, Asaba, Oshimili South Local Government Area, Okotie-Eboh  Grammar School, Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area, College of Commerce, Warri, Warri South Local Government Area, and Destiny Secondary School, Ughelli, Ughelli North Local Government Area.

The encounter between Zappa Mixed Secondary School, Asaba, and Okpanam High School, Okpanam, played at the J J Okocha Stadium, Ogwashi Uku, ended 2-1 in favour of the Asaba team, while that between Okotie-Eboh Grammar School, Sapele, and Ogulagha Grammar School, Ogulagha, Burutu Local Government Area, that took place at Hussey College, Warri, also ended 2-1 in favour of Okotie-Eboh Grammar School.

College of Commerce, Warri, defeated Alaka Grammar School, Ozoro, Isoko North Local Government Area, 1-0 at the Ughelli Township Stadium, Ughelli, just as Springate International School, Umutu, Ukwuani Local Government Area, lost 1-2 on penalties, after a 1-1 draw at full time, to Destiny Secondary School, Ughelli, at the Kwale Township Stadium, Kwale.

The semi final matches will be played on November 13, 2019.
