In what appears to be a re-enactment of the horror tales of old time slavery, about three hundred persons allegedly chained together in Rigasa, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State have been rescued by police officers following a raid at a home allegedly used as an Islamic Centre.

ChannelsTV reports that the victims, according to the Police, are nationals of Burkina Faso, Mali and other African countries.

It was gathered that adults were allegedly subjected to daily recitation of the Holy Quran and prayers, accompanied with torture.

There are also alleged claims that some of the children had been sexually abused. (ChannelsTV)
