In what analysts said may be a dress rehearsal for Nigeria’s performance in next year’s Russia World Cup, the Super Eagles stunned football superpowers Argentina 4-2 in an international friendly played in Russia on Tuesday. The Super Eagles came from 0-2 deficit to hand over a memorable defeat to the Messi-less Argentines. Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi and Leicester’s Kelechi Iheanacho were superb on the attack, with Kelechi reducing the deficit with a curled free kick just before the break.
