The Bayelsa PDP governorship primary election ended this morning with the Senator representing Bayelsa Central Senatorial District, Sen Douye Diri emerging the winner with 561 votes to beat his closest rival, former NDDC Managing Director, Timi Alaibe, who scored 365 votes. Others are:

Okoko 142, Jonah 62, Mciver-Joshua 7, Osaisai 4, Agadaga 3, Agbedi 18

Okoya 19, Igali 4, Paulker 2, Etolo 4, Ayawei 7, Ongolo 3, Alagoa 3, Okara 4, Konbowei Benson 24, Kiyaramo 2.

Invalid votes 16, Total votes cast 1253
