Former Secretary to Delta State Government and astute politician in Isoko Nation, Comrade Ovuzorie Macaulay, has said that the noise about Isoko ethnic nationality supporting former Governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Iweta Uduaghan for Senate, is neither here nor there; and should be brushed aside as one of the biggest joke of the 21st century, a tall dream very difficult for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to achieve in Delta South Senatorial District and in the governorship elections.

He made the assertion in a re-union interface with his good friend of over three decades and Executive Assistant on Communications to Delta State Governor,  Dr (Barrister) Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council secretariat in Asaba, on Monday.

Macaulay noted that Isoko people of Delta South are intelligent, politically matured and cannot be swayed by unfounded image laundry and misinformation by APC and its senatorial candidate in Delta South, pointing that the only political party known to Isoko nation for which they have benefited enormously since 1999 and still counting; is PDP, not the fast decaying APC.

He berated Uduaghan for abandoning a party (PDP), that baby-nursed him from semi-poverty as a medical doctor with a low-key lifestyle to a prosperous individual of enormous proportion, adding that such betrayed can only result in Uduaghan's monumental failure at the polls, come 16th February, 2019.

The state former SSG and super comrade further disclosed that APC is already a failed party by all standards; and that there is no amount of propaganda and sweet talks by APC leaders and their candidates in Delta that can salvage their wrecked political ship at a time Nigerians and Deltans already made up their mind to crash President Buhari and APC from the nation's political radar.

"Deltans should ignore the media abrakatabra about Isoko eligible voters voting for either Uduaghan for Senate or Ogboru for Governor. Its all political jankara crafted by some amateur media propagandists recruited by APC and its failed candidates in Delta and Isoko Nation.

"Our only mandate is Gov Okowa for re-election and Senator Manager for Senate. Whatever anybody is saying apart from PDP projects in this election should be disregarded with a wave of the hand.

"Uduaghan is a non-issue in Isoko politics as far as the 2019 election is concerned. Our people are yet to benefit from the APC since 2015. PDP brought development to lsoko nation since 1999, and still ongoing under Okowa administration. And it is only fair that we remain in PDP and vote massively for Gov. Okowa and Senator Manager, for sake of  equity, enviable performance, transparency, quality leadership and enhanced good governance.

"Isoko nation's block votes shall go to Okowa and Manager. We do not have any deal with APC and its candidates, either now or in 2023. Never! If anything at all, we shall clean out APC from Delta South this year.

"Isoko people have come to trust PDP as a people focused and result oriented party with deepened internal democracy that allows for sustainable socioeconomic development as can be seen from the enviable achievements of the Okowa administration in all aspects of our state economy," Macaulay said.
