Abdulfatah Ahmed, Kwara State Governor.

Politicians in Kwara State have been cautioned against utterances capable of heating up the polity.

The llorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (lEDPU) gave the warning on Thursday.

Following the Tuesday’s disruption of its 53rd annual convention by political supporters, the union, in a statement yesterday, apologised to the Emir of Ilorin over the incident and appealed to security agencies to forestall a reoccurrence.

The union also frowned at what it described as infrastructure decay in various educational institutions across the state and called on the state government to address the issue.

It also appealed to the Federal Government to establish a Federal College of Education in the state.
